An ABS light means the anti-lock system has switched itself off. We scan the fault codes, test the wheel speed sensors and wiring, and repair the part that failed.

We show you before we fix
If your pads have life left, we say so. If something needs replacing, we explain what we found and give you the price first.
Every make and model
Cars, trucks, SUVs, hybrids and electric vehicles. Regenerative braking changes how pads wear on hybrids and EVs, but they still need regular brake checks.
Questions we hear a lot
Still not sure? Call 403-454-7500 and ask. It's free to ask.
How much does a brake job cost in Calgary?
It depends on what your car needs and the vehicle itself. Pads alone cost less than pads and rotors, and a seized caliper or leaking line adds to the bill. Call 403-454-7500 for a free quote. We'll inspect the brakes, tell you exactly what's worn, and price the repair before we start.
How do I know my brakes need replacing?
The common signs are a high-pitched squeal when braking, grinding or scraping, a pedal that pulses or feels soft, the car pulling to one side, or a brake warning light. Squealing is often the built-in wear indicator telling you the pads are getting thin. Grinding usually means they're worn through. Get them checked soon.
How long do brake pads last?
There's no single number. It depends on the pad material, the vehicle and how you drive. City stop-and-go driving wears pads much faster than highway driving, and hybrids and EVs often go longer because regenerative braking does some of the work. The only reliable answer is to measure them, which we do in every multi-point inspection.
Is it safe to drive with the ABS light on?
Your regular brakes should still work, but the anti-lock function is likely off. That means the wheels can lock up in a hard stop on ice or wet pavement. Drive carefully and get it checked soon. If the red brake warning light is on as well, stop driving and have it looked at.
What warranty do you give on brakes?
Brake work at our shop is covered for 1 year or 20,000 km on parts and labour. The brake parts we install meet or exceed OEM specifications. If something we replaced fails within that window, bring the car back with your receipt and we'll look after it. Keep the invoice with your service records.
